Some words and phrases we looked at tonight were...
'running for mayor'= a person who is a candidate for the office of city mayor during local elections.
'love at first sight' = to fall in love with someone, upon first meeting him/her.
'point at' = to use your finger, to direct someone's visual attention.
'point out' = to bring someone's attention to something eg. "he 'pointed out' all my spelling mistakes"
"get to the point.." to talk about the meaning, purpose or most important factor, during a conversation/meeting.
"I see you point" = indicating understanding of someone's opinion or view.
